LETTER OF SUPPORT

Dear Arizona Commerce Authority State Broadband Office,

As a resident, I am writing to express my support for the grant application and proposed project submitted by Conexon Connect for the BEAD program. I believe that the proposed project will expand access to reliable high-speed broadband services in our community.

I have witnessed first-hand the need for improved broadband services within my community. Our residents, businesses, and institutions have long suffered a lack of quality broadband service. The results of this are unequal access to information, insufficient telecommuting options, and stunted economic growth. However, I have confidence that through this infrastructure investment, it will cultivate opportunities for telework, telemedicine, and virtual education, building essential resiliency for the future.

It is my understanding that the proposed project will deliver world-class fiber with symmetrical 2 Gbps speeds to residents, businesses, and community anchor institutions.

I fully support Conexon Connect’s BEAD grant application and hope that Arizona Commerce Authority State Broadband Office will support them as well by funding this much-needed project. I believe Conexon Connect has the capability to build and maintain a quality broadband network, closing the digital divide in rural Arizona.
